Iron Fitting

A full iron set only feels consistent when the trim step between clubs climbs evenly — skip that discipline and a set can measure "correct" club by club while still feeling disjointed swung back to back.

The Set-Wide View

Frequency Steps, Not Just Individual Cuts

Rather than trimming each iron in isolation, we plot a target frequency curve across the whole set first, then choose the trim length for every shaft that lands it on that curve. This keeps the stiffness progression from long iron to short even, instead of relying on length alone to create that feel.

We check dynamic lie angle and gapping at the same time, since a mismatched trim step can hide behind a lie angle that looks fine on paper but plays inconsistently on the course.

What Changes

The Fitting Variables That Matter Most

Trim Step

Each club is cut to hold its place on a target frequency curve, so stiffness increases evenly from long iron to wedge.

Dynamic Lie Angle

Checked with impact tape on a lie board under real swing conditions, not a static bench measurement alone.

Length & Gapping

Carry distance gaps are measured club to club so length adjustments and trim decisions work together instead of against each other.

Sessions run 60–90 minutes and produce a full trim log across your entire set.
